The seminar was held to strengthen participants’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities as key players in ensuring accountability, transparency, and integrity in law enforcement operations. Topics discussed included the creation and composition of PLEBs, administrative disciplinary procedures, complaint filing and hearing processes, offenses and penalties under NAPOLCOM rules, and effective case management practices. It also provided a platform for open dialogue, clarification of common challenges, and the sharing of best practices to enhance local service delivery. Through this initiative, NAPOLCOM Regional Office 2 continues to empower communities by equipping local officials with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold justice, promote peace and order, and strengthen public trust in the police service. This further underscores the agency’s commitment to fostering capable, responsive, and well-informed PLEB members and barangay leaders across the region.
